Hi everybody just having a look round for future reference. My name is Geoff, I live in Leyburn North Yorkshire, and am in the process of buying a tdm, I have just sold a cbf 1000 , has anyone else made the same journey?. and am looking forward to picking up the new bike. are there any nuggets of info I should know?. Will I find a major difference between cbf & tdm, and are there any recurrent tdm problems? thanks for any help cheers Geoff

Yes... for one you will be able to give your clutch hand a rest as a twin produces less hp but more torque
and you won't have to be constantly shifting to stay in the powerband.

I think Nanook went from a TDM900 to a CBF1000 back to a TDM900 IIRC.
But problems if you use the search function you should find plenty to go with. The only thing I can think off the top of my head is Batteries can take a beating on the TDM900.

It's the bottom bush that can seize and cause trouble. If it's been in storage for ages it's going to be worth greasing things like that anway.

Does that tax disk say 09/04?

What make of can is that?
