Suggestion: In case anything goes wrong with the mount do you have a safety lanyard between the cam and bike?

Very nice! I've also toyed with a cam on the bars, and main disadvantages are the smoked screen makes it darker, as well as sometimes causing reflections and upsetting the focus, plus at that height you get no sense of speed. I cobbled the mount together from an old pushbike reflector mount and the screw from an old tripod. That Ram mount looks the very fellow for me!

Vid example from my setup HERE. Beware of cheesy editing and cake.

1996 TDM850 in Yellow, Motad Nexxus, MK1 bashplate, Acerbis handguards, K&N, Xenons, Aux lamps, Bluespot calipers, Renthal 755 bars, DIY panniers, JBX-inspired gear indicator.  (Currently not on the road.)

Bikes wot I have had and dun't have any more: 1983 Honda CB125TDC, 1976 Kawasaki S1C (early KH250 stroker triple), 1986 Honda VF500F2, 1992 Kawasaki KLE500.

That's about the best quality on board footage I've ever seen Dave! CAn the camera take an external mic? If so they're pretty cheap and mounting it inside the faring or under the seat would mean it pickes up the engine/exhaust noise but not the wind.

2009 900 abs, 42k miles, Yamaha heated grips, double bubble screen, R&G crash bungs, scottoiler, Autocom, 1500 lumen LED spotlights.
