Thanks for the encouragement everyone. It's definately more fun doing this kind of thing when you get a bit of feedback. Especially when it's about 10x more work than calculated.

Finished polishing and brought the parts home today.

My brother is vistiting from across the country, so It's a bit a-social to sit in the garage now.

Pics to come shortly.

i'm literally sat on the edge of my seat waiting for the finished pics

You do plan to offer a service to paint ours too at small fee right? Cause I'm pretty sure damn near everyone here wants a new paint job now.

Also swapped to straighter and a bit wider handlebars from Renthal. And while i was at it, put on heated grips.

Colour changed quite a bit when i moved outdoors.

Oh wow, that is simply stunning!! The bars are a great choice, I have exactly the same Renthals on the Mk1 and they do improve the riding position.

Loving the paintjob, I am so envious!!

With the added yellow it's even faster than it was.

(yellow adds the equivalent of about 15hp).

Brilliant, and very well done. I'm sure that those rain clouds wouldn't dare leak on it.

splendid job Galilee...........truly inspiring

I guess the apparent colour change was because the workshop had fluorescent lighting which has a different ('greener') colour temperature
from daylight.........more noticeable to a (uncorrected) camera than to the eye/brain

by the way, what type (number) are the Renthal bars..........look like they'd ease my aching wrists!

thanks & bravo!..........Jiff
