I don't think there's much point of Chris and Paddy heading for Hamilton. It's a bit of a detour. I assumed they would head right up the A77/M77 and come off at Govan in Glasgow.
Ivan , Don't leave too early. There's plenty of time. I think you and your crew should crack on past Hamilton onto the M8 and head for Govan too. It's only another 20 min.
Johnny and I could meet you all there in the Asda car park.
My intention was to leave early/mid afternoon and head up the A82 to Fort William then cut across country to Aviemore.
I spoke to Wicky last week at Paignton bike night. He's talking about leaving from just north of Exeter about 06:00.
He probably won't roll into central Scotland until 2pm if he gets a good run.
There's no hurry. As long as we're there for 7pm.
Just my thoughts.

Its about 4 hrs from my house to Govan.
If we meet up at The Forton Services at say 9.00 we would be at Govan by dinner time 12.00 ish
I presume your ASDA has a greasy spoon section ?
Cheers, Ivan

I'm easy with a 9.00 am start from Forton, and a rendezvous at Asda.
Will Wicky be getting his MOT before he leaves, or on the way up?

finally got my arse in gear.
The boy (jonnybray) and myself have got booked into the bunkhouse in a family room - a bit pricier than the 6 birth rooms but not a farty, snorey or smelly - for the Friday and Saturday nights.
GGuy, do you mind if we tag along?, have you finally agreed on Forton services at 9.00am?
Joe, would you be good enough to book another 2 in for the meals on the Friday and Saturday nights?
See you all there

Meet in the Old Bridge Inn next door to the bunkhouse at, say, 19.45 on the Friday. Food and drink there is good but soddin' expensive so I reckon that, after a welcome pint, we should go around the corner to the Cairngorm Hotel. Unfortunately they don't pre-book tables but hopefully it'll be quiet. If it isn't we can go across the road to Roos Leap for dinner. The place where we had breakfast last time we met in Aviemore will not be open until 12.00 so that's a non starter. There are a few other places that do breakfast including Roos Leap (no I don't have shares in the place!). Anyone planning to cook in the bunkhouse should remember that the kitchen is a bit on the small side. Remember that the bunkhouse provides bedding and towels so you won't need to take these with you.

When we get to Govan do we wear our string vests over or under our leathers?

That's a pity , but it's a long way and a lot of petrol just for a day or so catching up with folk. I'm sure I wouldn't go if the G2G was in the south of Englandshire !
Never mind , maybe next year the meet could be more central UK.
