Great weekend, really good to meet you all!

I went over the Lect on the way back from Aviemore, visability was down to about 15 meters!
Once over the other side the sun came out & stopped at Braemar for a coffee. Looking forward to see all those professional photos that were taken in the fading light!!

Hi all, safely back in sunny Merseyside. A great weekend 1250 miles in four days. Thanks to Joe for organising it, Dandy for "organising" the Saturday rideout and Joe and Peter for sorting the rideout on Sunday (you early leavers missed 270 miles of tarmac joy and the best cake and the sminkiest waitress). Even the weather was good (for Scotland). Great to see some old faces again and meet some new ones. I'll sort my pictures and post them soon.

Really good weekend, lots of craic and great rideouts/weather.
I met bigboat at Braemar on Friday evening and we headed over the Lecht (not the one in your pics Haw, that's the Chairlift carpark dry.gif ) Saturdays run was a bit chambolic at the start but settled into a good rip around the whisky trails. Good to see Les (TDM960) again - never seen a TDM tyres as raggy at the sides as his blink.gif
Great run back on Sunday around Perthshire................thanks to Joe for organising it as usual and to Hawmaw for a memorably quiet Sunday breakfast tongue.gif
Glad applecross was worth it Ivan - would've liked to have gone - maybe next time............

Home yesterday afternoon at 3pm and completely knackered. 1415miles, 59.68mpg. Brilliant time, some of the best riding roads ever and great company - more faces to names. Thanks to Joe for organising and Alan for finding the roads (even some agricultural ones!). Sunday's ride from Aviemore to Stranraer via Edinburgh was probably the best day's riding I can remember. Too many stops without cake on Saturday though which is something that needs fixing for the next one!

My piccies for your delectation...

Lunch meet at Glasgow.

Glencoe on Friday. I'd never seen it in clear weather. Stunning is not the word!

Ivan sports the latest in bespoke Hi-Viz jackets. I think he'll be taking orders soon...

Rush hour in Aviemore.

Rob explains to Joe what he's going to do with the cone if he doesn't hurry up and take the bloody picture.

Joe tells Paddy "the camera loves you".

Brian's lad Alan enjoys a light snack ....

Andy and Chris plot routes in our cosy room. Paddy realises he's trapped in a room with two 850 riders.

Nice scenery and Johnny's Mk11.

The road to Applecross

At the top of the pass enroute to Applecross

HawMaw performs the traditional checking of the oil routine familiar to all 850 riders. Although I mustn't take the piss as Johhny's 900 had a low oil light on saturday and needed a top-up. I bollocked him for showing up the 900s in front of the 850 riders, then my light came on on Monday morning!

Skye Bridge on Sunday.

My 2010 calendar submission - on the road to Lochcarron.
