Just found out that my new Renthal handlebars are not due at the warehouse until at least the 8th, so thats out the window for this weekend . ranting.gif

You might need a rocker cover gasket, from dealer or wemoto.

The rocker cover gasket is rubber so hope to use that again. The o ring on the water pipe might be a prob as alot of crap builds between itself and the head damaging the o ring when removing.
I'll bring the instant gasket as a get out of jail.

Yep, I'll be there. Well, if I can't get the handlebars in time I still have one or two things I could do with a second opinion on (& I have a Darwin symbol to stick on the top box to annoy the god botherers with tongue.gif ). Also I have got all the ingrediants for cake- ing

You might need a temp. fuel supply, unless your gonna swivel the tank out the way. And possibly a drain plug gasket/copper washer.

How long do you think you are going to be about chaps?
I may come along but it's me burp-day on Friday drinks.gif so I will not be up and about much before lunch time on Sat at the earliest. Once I am vertical I am only half and hour from Thetford though and I do have a mini fuel tank for when your are balancing.
TS50ER, Suzuki GT125, Cagiva 125, Suzuki GT250 20 year gap. Honda CBF600. Discovered the joy of TDM, 1974 GT250 has joined the stable
Vario touring screen, Stainless Steel Rad Guard, Fender Extender (it came off), Givi V46 Topbox (inc brake light), SW-Motech Engine Bars, Wingrack, LED Tail Light
Still in the shed:- BMW Hand Guards, Heated Grips, Aux Lamps.

If your struggling to calculate the shims using yer heeds, you could use the valve shim calculator on JBX's site.

I tried it out yesterday and it's reeeeeealy good !

I sent em the EXACT calculator SR. The crazy Frenchmans one assumes you only have '5' increment shims available.

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

It does indeed Dappers, pity about that. I noticed also that the parts fiche only lists the shims in 5 increments. dunno.gif
