Yup replacements only come in 5 increments. But origies are in "1" increments.

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

Right last ditch attempt to get this back on topic........

What are you bring parts wise on sat??

We can nip to Halfrauds in the Rangy if you want to save carrying stuff as their price's aren't too bad!!

Try and use nearly all your petrol up on the way over just in case we have probs with fuel tank/ Pipes, It might be worth replacing that too but if we need it I know a good motor factors that dont charge the earth!!! If we do replace it I will suggest that were make up longer ones??

I enjoyed your rock buns last time out.
TS50ER, Suzuki GT125, Cagiva 125, Suzuki GT250 20 year gap. Honda CBF600. Discovered the joy of TDM, 1974 GT250 has joined the stable
Vario touring screen, Stainless Steel Rad Guard, Fender Extender (it came off), Givi V46 Topbox (inc brake light), SW-Motech Engine Bars, Wingrack, LED Tail Light
Still in the shed:- BMW Hand Guards, Heated Grips, Aux Lamps.

DOT4
Iridium plugs
sump plug (magnetic)
Copper washer
Camera with a 4gb card

Thats about it, can check front pads while we at it but i can do them if i need to

Yeah quite often you will find some will swap or can be moved elsewhere. So doin em all in one go sounds like a great idea, whilst all them shims are there. Do you gots them angled feeler guages? Might find em easier than the straightees.

I've never done bucket and shim all the ones I've done have been screw and locknut!

Ooh you'll need anti freeze too cos we'll change it when it's drained to do your tappets!!

If you get a big un I'll go halves cos if we do mine I'll need some!!

Catty will you have time to do my tappets too?? I can take tank etc off ready??

And Jaffa cakes are the dogs danglies...
