I run my own Mobile tyre business, been in the trade 40+ years.
Currently own a Honda Africa Twin and Triumph Trophy 900.
Decided to change to one bike and the TDM900 looks like it will serve my purpose, which is two-up touring in Europe and general pleasure use.
My missus is currently learning on a 125 and taking to it very well, showing unknown skills.
I'm going to have a few questions on the TDM when i start looking in earnest.

I'm Keyoke (James) from Nottingham, UK.
I've got a '93 TDM850 that I've had for only a couple of weeks now - already in love with the bike! Will try and get some pics up fairly soon...
Hope to be able to get to some of the meet-ups etc.. Is anyone doing Bulldog Bash this year?

As the suspension on my bike will attest to, I like cake a little *too* much!

Will keep my eye out for that rideout, too - Rutland is one of my favourite riding areas, the A606 from Nottm to Oakham is awesome!

Hi Studley,
Wont be making the 'Any Spare Change' - it's the weekend after my daughters 1st birthday, so will be away with the Missus - I reckon I'd get bits removed if I told her I was off on a rally that weekend!

Bulldog Bash, however is booked and paid for - might even try to convince the missus we should take the little 'un to BMF tail-ender...?

My name is Lee I live in Northamptonshire. I've had a few bikes over the years, but I bought a 2002 TDM in March 09 with 5 k on the clock. Fitted a few bits scottoiler and luggage.
Best bike I've ever had and the missus likes it as well.

Fergie's the name, returned to bikes about 5 years ago after a loooooong break. Living in Dublin
Currently riding a Deauville 650 for commuting and a VFR800Fi for fun.
Selling the Deauville, guy gave me a deposit on it today, and planning to buy a TDM900, 02-03.
A mate has one and he gave me a spin a couple of times lately and I am loving it.
Seen a 2002 navy in a shop in Dublin. Going to look at a black 2003 tomorrow. Neither have luggage so I wanna get a full hard luggage system for touring, hopefully I will have it on the road for the NW200 weekend

Any particular faults or issues I need to watch out for?

Do the 'air-box mod', smooths out low speed jerkiness.
You will find it on JBX Tech Page... Click Carpe TDM Portal (top left), look down the left side and you will find the link.
Cheers!
