I'd like to meet up for the run up but I am going to be at a gas course on the Friday so I will have to leave straight after the course. I was going to go straight up the M80 M9. but apparently there are some major road works so I think i'll have to go another route

Cool, I don't know exactly what time I'll be able to get away from this gas course yet. I will need to speak to the instructors on Monday, worst case it will be 17.00.

No problem Tam, I'm doing agency work and wont know what I'll be doing until next week but I'll be finished by 5 as well. The roadworks on the M80 are only for a couple of miles and we should be able to filter through.

You could certainly join route 1 and 2 together, that would be a great day's ride. Route 3 goes through Alford, theres a transport museum there which has a very good collection of old and some not so old bikes if anyone is interested, well worth an hour IMHO.
