Guy's i aint gonna make it to Edinburgh tonight as i'm still in Exeter as the replacement tail light assembly i had delivered this morning does not have any brake lights working, so the MOT tester took one look and said NO (again) !!! i've had to hunt down a MKI tail light assy. and bodge fit that in the mean time, so it's back to the MOT station again this afternoon and she shud pass now. oil leave Exeter later and head North along the M6 and stay overnoight somewhere and meet up with ye tomorrow along the way or in Aviemore. im trying to remain positive bout all of this, but everything in my field of vision turned a bright white colour earlier on today !! wick

spyball alarm/immob, bluespot brake calipers and Stainless hoses, Fournales air adjustable shock with Remote Resevoir, forks raised 10mm thru yokes, racetech linear fork springs in 15 wt oil, Kappa wingrack/luggage, heated grips, Kedo handguards, dual heat controller to power heated jacket liner and or pants!!, Stebel 136DB horn, K&N air filter, colour matched Baglux tank cover (magnetic tank bag modified to fit cover), osram +50% headloight bulbs, headlight protector,"NitramSpecial" parking loight, tail light indicators all running on LED's & incorporate "Lite Buddies", MK7 Scottoiler fitted, taller screen, 2-2 stainless steel CCC's, Devil stainless down pipes. MKI Renntec engine crash bars & sump guard.
engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

I loike tay and hang sangwiches !

Certainly:

“Yes, you’ll have to keep your traditional woollen underwear handy, chaps, but silk will do fine for the girls. Mind you, I’m a little concerned about W’s description of “soaking panties” – the man must be mad! If anybody is passing through Elgin, give it a blast on the horn from me – that little town was never lively enough.”

Have a great time – I’m just wishing I could join you all. Hope the whisky trail works out. My grandfather was a manager of a few - last of all, Royal Lochnagar at Crathie, just up the road behind Balmoral Castle. A fine small distillery with many happy childhood memories, including refusing Prince Charles’ invitation to play football – well, we were both about 8 at the time and it was my b****y ball…!

Hi sorry Pict
The Snow pic was not suppossed to be in there but for some strange reason (probably due to me being a numpty) when you do a slide show it shows all the pics not just the album that I linked to. The snow Pic is outside our front door of oor old butt'n'ben in Tomatin which is about 1000 Ft ASL and does get a few sprinklings of snow in the winter.

Just wondering - I remember my grandad's old pal, the gamekeeper up at the Lairig Ghru, stopping my planned hike from Deeside over to Aviemore one July many years ago, on account af a "wee blizzard".

Twas a great weekend, thanks Nanook for organising. On Monday lunchtime AE and I turned for home leaving Wicky ph34r.gif and Emmett hidden.gif demolishing a cakestand in the Sligachan Hotel on Skye. The rain started at Dalwhinnie and it pissed nearly all the way home.

Highlights - scenery, roads, company, learning the Daplebian word "sminky", the sminky waitress in Plockton, oh well everything really...

Now back at work. Sheesh... sad.gif
