I think it was more Paddy than you Jim - lots of talk of fermanagh, donegal, mournes, mauds and whether castlewellan camping allowed bikes... I think you're guilty by association Buddy!
Riding slowly to make you all look faster...

1997 Mk2 (registered '99) in super quick yellow/silver with custom gone-faster scratches. Micron 2-1 exhaust (fruity but not offensive), TRX engine (after the death-rattle signalled the end of the original), Hagon rear shock, rust-proof rear end courtesy of loobman chain oiler... My first and only bike (delivered new to home before I passed my test), tatty and a bit of a shed, but still get a buzz from it!

I have been thinking about this incident since I got back. I wonder was there any signs I missed warning of the road-works? Being lead I should have spotted them so that bothers me.
The guy on the cruiser was some can of pi$$ ! He was in shorts and t-shirt with no gear at all only an open face lid with the strap OPEN! He said Chris fell off I should tell him 'mind the gravel'...eh...thanks but I think we have that now! Chris would have clobbered me. Also he also mentioned it was the 'chap on the kawasaki' rotflmmfao.gif As they say 'some lad'!

This also thought me I need some decent boots and crash bars.

Some pix and video - the best one is the Drive-By - the Scary Spice one is only for over 18s - sorry but they are very hi resolution so you might be a while waiting for them.

Pix and Video

Thanks for all the feedback and glad it was an enjoyable weekend. Great to meet you all and look forwrad to seeing you again. We had some good laughs and some good chats.

Chris - Hat off to you my man, your hard as nails. I would have been a while getting up after a fall like that...say around now probably drinks.gif Fair play to ye!

Finally Paddy, I'm not one for the 'yeller uns' but that bike is gorgeous, good on ye!

Have you ever lent someone 20 quid and never seen it again? It was probably worth it.

Long Loved TDM is no longer with me...

Still sore and not pretty. It will be a while before I go back to running or even fit a shoe on. I keep finding new bruises and sore spots in unexpected places.

I resent the implication of that picture and comment. You actually asked me how many toes did I think I had broken and I replied "one".

Infamy, infamy, you've all got it in for me (to quote Kenneth Williams). I wish to withdraw any comments I may have made in haste about 'good mates' and 'support' that I made in an earlier post.
