I was thinking about the Saturday rideout when I was on Skye at the weekend. We could make it Skye if the weather is fair at the time in the west. Alternatively, I've got an idea that I'll flesh-out when I get back from France in a couple of weeks that involves lovely quiet roads and beautiful country and is a bit further east than Skye. Anyone else got any preferences...apart from

spyball alarm/immob, bluespot brake calipers and Stainless hoses, Fournales air adjustable shock with Remote Resevoir, forks raised 10mm thru yokes, racetech linear fork springs in 15 wt oil, Kappa wingrack/luggage, heated grips, Kedo handguards, dual heat controller to power heated jacket liner and or pants!!, Stebel 136DB horn, K&N air filter, colour matched Baglux tank cover (magnetic tank bag modified to fit cover), osram +50% headloight bulbs, headlight protector,"NitramSpecial" parking loight, tail light indicators all running on LED's & incorporate "Lite Buddies", MK7 Scottoiler fitted, taller screen, 2-2 stainless steel CCC's, Devil stainless down pipes. MKI Renntec engine crash bars & sump guard.
engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.
I loike tay and hang sangwiches !

The Applecross ride, then riding back alongside Loch Ness was a stunning ride for the few of us that stayed over the extra night last year.

looks loike i aint gonna make it either as wheel prolly be in the middle of a hoose move.

Are we having T shirts again this year? Last years were good quality, and if I remember rightly £11
Ivan organised them last year, but as he isn't coming I am happy to sort it out.
I suggest the same design as last year ( I'm sure that if you look at last years pictures you will see big Dave wearing one) but obviously saying 2010
in blue rather than red. Being a 900 rider I was thinking of pink, but not to everyones taste.
Please PM me your size, and if there is enough interest, I will sort it.

i'm planning to take 2 days each way for travelling so i can avoid motorways
leaving essex on the thursday morning & aiming for lakes/borders that night
meet up with Tiff in Edinburgh that day and on to Aviemore bunkhouse for the friday&sat
me & Tiff then have 2 days to get back, prolly with sunday night in the borders again
dunno if we camping, B&B or Hosteling yet
