Congratulations on the new bike. I'd love one.

I saw your old bike at the dealers the other day ( Nice bike). I didn't even know the shop existed. He told me you updated to the Tenere.

I’m in Manly West.....

Cheers Steve

Hi Steve,

yes it was / is a nice bike that goes very well with the Remus cans and the powercommander but the "Minister for War and Finance" does not see the point in having more than 2 bikes, note to self in my next life have a Minister of W & F that actually likes / loves bikes. Yes Duncan has a problem there as people that travel past regularly tell him they had not noticed his shop proir to going in.

Cheers Rick

Well done, nice bike. Would like to see one in the flesh possibly get a test ride on one but still cant justify the money seeing I have a nearly new 900 that the Minister of finance let me get last year. Even when they do like bikes they still dont let you do thinks like buy 10 bikes.
Though my minister of finance is wanting a new type Triumph Bonnie.
Dont have to leave this site just because you have a new Yamaha twin loads others have hung around.

So far love it and expect to love it even more as we get old together, feels quite a bit lighter than my old 9er and torque wise a bit like the 9 with a turbo bolted on. so far more comfortable for less bend of the knees and a better reach to the bars, the linked brakes with ABS work Great as does the traction control, only complaint is Yamaha are very slow out here to supply accessories. I have a Bash Plate on order but have been told delivery will be late August. And if i ordered an Outback Pack (Same as your 1st edition) it is a minimum 12 week wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we had only 20 of the First Edition / Outback bikes imported and they sold quick smart so the rest are standard but you can order the parts! Just they cannot supply them!

Cheers Rick
