Revisiting this post today and really pleased with the angle, quality and choice of B&W. Can you take it again with a better back ground than shed and fence?

Cheers Ferni!

Could i respectfully suggest that you might just be trying too hard. I used to feel the way you say over my pics and i took a very short photography course and the best bit of advice the guy gave me was to concentrate on the shot rather than the content and never to 'contrive' a shot, never move anything out of your view, not to be scared to 'break the rules' and dont worry about trying a different angle. My 'best' (IMVHO!) shots are the ones that i spy and shoot in seconds with my phone - the problem with that then comes that I wish I had used a decent camera!!

I reckon I could take better photos if I took the time to mess around with the settings on my camera. I usually just take the camera and look for a backdrop to park the bike, try to get the light behind me and take sum pics smile.gif

Usually end up with photos that are too dull or dark, or have too much tint, contrast etc. That said, I do have a decent knowledge of Paint shop pro and am able to correct a lot of my photographic woopsies. It's amazing how a photo can come to life just by bringing out the colours and clarity.

I'll post a couple of examples up....

Like the idea of doin a course on photography smile.gif
