Sorry I missed ya there MrT, I turned up on saturday, had a great few days with everyone.
After leaving Dandy and a grumpy Minty Hippo(he was fine once he had some food

), meself and wicky headed for a lap of Skye, we went to a pretty good Museum of Island life and of course had to stop at Sligachan again for more cake, I think Wicky was missing his cake discussions with PK. The weather turned really wet when we were eating cake so we decided to head for the Gaelic College that Minty and Dandy told us about, after riding up and down a ten mile stretch of rode between Eilean Iarmain and Ardvaser a few times in the worst rain I had ever ridden in (Untill the following day), we decided to head for a hotel in Ardvasar. Once we got there Wicky mentioned he had seen the college, but I don't think there was any sminkys there so we stayed put in the hotel, which was full of them (Wicky will have pics when he gets back). We could only get a double room, or that's what Wicky said

, I think he secretly wants a 900

.
We got up fairly early, to get breakfast off two sminkys, and Richard, Wicky liked Richard. And headed to Mallaig on the ferry, I hate ferrys they make me sick, they have no cake, and no sminkys. We took a nice road the A861 which looped down towards the Isle of Mull, we took a little detour down a little lane to see a really nice castle ruins, on a little sand-spit in a bay, we discussed riding the bikes across the beach, but wussed out, I didn't know where we were so I couldn't get Carole Gash out to help me if I fell. After pushing on for a few miles Wicky's cake and/or sminky radar stopped us at a lovely tea house, where I left a weapon of mass destruction in the toilet. Being Mk2 riders we had to stop on the next available flat ground to top up our oil, I used 3.2 litres, Wicky used 3.8, luckily the support crew in the 4WD trucks were on hand with the oil. We discussed taking the Corran ferry, but we were enjoying the road, so we pushed on through Fort William, and straight on to Oban in heavier rain than the day before.
We managed to get a big 4 bed room in a hostel in Oban, which was run by a nutter, a perfect match for Wicky. I think she got a bit worried when he told her we had met on the internet, but she let us stay all the same. After a couple of pints we had a curry, and while both were great, the lack of sminky was a bit dissappointing. A bit of abuse by a Rangers supporting barman, who clearly doesn't like the Irish, or bikers, and especially not Irish bikers, finished the night off nicely, and we retired, pissed to the beds.....................seperately.
Waking up to the heaviest rain yet, even heavier than the rain on the previous two days combined

, we packed up and headed to The Green Welly Stop in Tyndrum for my final cake of the holidays. The cake was great, and the Cullen Skink was greater, and the tour bus of sminkys made it the perfect farewell.
I headed straight home to Edinburgh, to dry off, and Wicky was heading back to the highlands for more cake, and more sminky, I'm sure he'll have his fill.
