It takes out the main East coast A90 stretch to Stonehaven which is boring and adds a much more enjoyable bit.

If i get to go i'm heading up thurs coz have to be home sat(family stuff) so no ride out sat

Cheers, that`s my usual route but I was not sure how much time we would have on our hands.
Anyway, still keeping the fingers crossed for good weather for exploring the West Coast if possible!!

if u get a chance as bobajob said head up the A82 via glencoe, spean bridge etc,
But Take care on the A835 Comming back from ullapool direction
heading towards inverness...........
as after a long fast section u hit a bad z bend series of corners just before garve
a couple of years ago comming back from ullapool, ma mate came off
esp if its wet
enjoy and take care,

No problem. Thinking about Morrisons supermarket (LINKY) which is near me in case the bikes need any emergency fettling, has cheap petrol, is on route and you can park the bikes outside the cafe window.
Alternatively we can meet at the Asda in Govan which is right on the motorway but people get shot in their cars in the car park!!
