HawMaw contacted me today to say that most of the chaps coming through Glasgow on Friday have already been up by Loch Lomond last year and suggested this route (LINKY) instead. It takes you past Queens View, Aberfoyle, The Dukes Pass, Callander then on to join our original route to the Green Welly and onwards to Glencoe etc.
I agree with Hawmaw, it's a much nicer road and the Dukes Pass is a must.

All in favour say Aye.

Och Aye McKay !!!

How easy is it to find the Bunkhouse ??, I can't find it on google street-view. Is it sign posted ?? . .

Hopefully I can find it, its a long way from Bristol to end up sleeping on a bench park.

Do I win a prize for travelling the furthest (approx 505 mile) or can some one beat that ??

Cheers Daz

I get the prize for travelling..............................3 miles laugh.gif

For the west it is - Sunny spells and scattered showers on Saturday. More persistent rain on Sunday, especially over Northwest Highlands. Further heavy rain and strong southwesterly winds on Monday. Drier, brighter towards Moray Coast.

Further east Moray and Grampian - Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Mainly dry and bright over the weekend with sunshine and a few showers. Rather cloudy on Monday with strong southwesterly winds and light rain at times.

So it looks like a rideout west on Saturday and then east on Sunday.

What bike is it Tiff? Do you know if it's and oil pressure warning or an oil level warning light?

beers it is then, but the last one to finish the pint gets the next round.
it's called 'challenge the oldies'

it's a Diversion N
I always thought it was a level light, but I'm a woman who knows nothing,
so could be a pressure light coz
It's not on when i start the engine, but comes on when i get a mile or so down the road, then goes off once the engine's warm.

It's a level light, not a pressure light then, which is a very good thing indeed good.gif . If it was a pressure light I'd be advising you to stop using it until it's been looked at. If you're absolutely sure the levels are OK, then it should be OK. See here for details: Linky Dinky.
