Tiff's bike on wagon and going to Hawick overnight, tony tiff and chris booked in a b&B next to where the bike is going.
Tiff currently getting Xrays seems likely the finger is broken but they are doing hand and hip as well just to make sure.
if tiff ends up released tonight then she will be going the journey home from Hawick tomorrow with her bike in the recovery van.
Tony and Chris may spend another day in area or may not deciding tomorrow morn.
dunno about Fatchap not heard anymore on that one.

Fat chap had an off :-( not serious but shook up a bit ) that was this AM
and more recently Tiff has had an off just arriving into selkirk and has gone off in an ambulance to hospital with a suspected broken finger and other bruises and bumps.
tony is currently helping her bike onto the recovery wagon at the side of the road in selkirk.
will let you know as things progress
Happy to report that the Fatchap is OK. A few bumps and scrapes, the only thing really hurt was my pride but the bike is in a sad state. Most of the plastics are buggered, everything held together with gaffer tape.
I am really sorry to hear about Tiff. What a crap ending to a really excellent weekend. I do hope that she recovers soon. Big thank you to Chris, Chris and Tony for the help in getting my bike out of the ditch. And big thanks to Scottish farmers wife (name unknown) for the loan of Isuzu 4x4 and tow rope.
I hope everyone else made it home in one piece.
See you all next year.

Hi Colin,
Glad to hear you're ok and sorry to hear about the bike. I've got 2 side panels which you are welcome to. Colour's obviously wrong but they are only scratched and not cracked or broken. A muppet knocked me off my bike doing a U-turn when in standing traffic. Insurance paid so they were replaced and I made sure I held on to the old ones. Your need is obviously greater than mine.
Was great to meet you and everyone else. I really enjoyed the weekend. I damm near got blown off my bike this morning outside Torness Power Station on the A1. It was so windy I diverted to an inland route to avoid the area around Berwick.
Looking forward to the next outing. Roll on the Mega Treff. I've already booked. Hope some of us can go en-masse.
Will be putting a tip on riding in Germany on the correct thread.
Ride safe.

Another great weekend organised by Joe - good to see he's as grumpy as ever! Good to put faces to unknown names as well as meeting old faces too................

Sorry to hear about your trials and tribulations on the way home from what was another great get-together. Glad to hear that you both survived without too much damage. Could have been a lot worse than a broken finger and some broken plastic. Get well soon.

I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and spent today boring everyone at work with my TDM tales. Thanks to all for making me feel so welcome, it was great to meet you all and put faces to names.
The rides were excellent with truly stunning scenery especially for me when Dandy took AliG and I through Tomintoul to Braemar and out through Glenshee which I had never been on before but plan to do again very soon.
Just shy of 700 miles, 0.5 litres of oil, 55mpg and one sore arse. It's a bugger being on the top bunk

Thanks also to Johnny, Tony and Dandy

Thanks again and hope to see you all again soon.

Definately worth braking a few bones for!
I can't wait to come on the next one.
Now in recovery truck. Only another 6 hours or so to go. In yesterdays soggy bike clothes & a sling.
2 student doctors, 6 hours & 5 xrays later, & I'm gonna have to have it pinned when I get home.
Thanks to Tony & Chris, even being in hospital was a laf!
Love u guys!!!

Another fantastic weekend at Aviemore, many thanks to Joe for organising it. The rideouts were sensational, especially the Saturday run up to the North West.
Highlights for me:
The north west rideout - stunning scenery once the rain had gone and you could see it. Mind you, when the rain went, the midges arrived.
The roads over the Caerngorms. In fact, great roads everywhere. Fast open stretches, nadgery little lanes and everything in between.
Andrew, the bloke who rescued Pete after his puncture. Restores your faith in human nature.
The company, as usual a great time was had on & off the bikes. Good to see old friends and meet some new ones.
Real ale in every pub we went to (after the bike was parked for the night of course)
Low points:
Fatchap's & Tiff's accidents. Hope both make a full recovery.
The ride home from Blairgowrie to Preston - cold, wet and gale force wind. That was me, but the weather was even worse.
Midges/rain.
Pete's puncture.
Fatchap's snoring (for those who forgot to wear their earplugs at night)
Cholesterol. My arteries may never recover.
Somehow spending a £138 on fuel in 4 days. Was someone syphoning my tank at night?
Thanks again to Joe & everyone for making it such a great trip.
