Was going to get a set of Remus exhausts around Christmas( see previous post) but cant justify the price. For the same money I can have a set of Fuels, 2 Michelins for me car, a new jacket and a big mac meal and go large on that. Has anyone any opinions on the Fuels. They look good but dont cost much. unsure.gif

Got a set of stainless oval on my 9er. Good quality, great sound (but not too loud), easy fitting. For that money- a bargain!

I fitted Fuel's to mine about 8 months ago and think they're really good because they sound much better than standard ones, improve power delivery and improve fuel efficiency by 3-5 mpg good.gif

Are they level when viewed from the back. I ask cos I had a set of Lazers on my Bulldog & someone pointed out one was higher than t'other. It drove me mad. Wouldn't look at the back of the bike. Got rid in the end.

Yep, mine are now. But when you fit them you need to hold them in position as you tighten the main clamps and adjust as necessary, by either moving slightly up or down or rotating, to ensure they match either side; when you are satisfied with how they look then tighten the clamps which connects them to the down pipes. When I first fitted them I didn't consider this and my 9er was like your bulldog but it was very easy to rectify rolleyes.gif

Is TD or Dappers responsible for this or am I being stupid?

Had a fuel can on my zrx and it was pretty good. Sounded nice not too loud. Great service ordered mine at 10.30 and had it the next day. Found them to be very friendly and helpful when trying to get a can for a mates 650 gs.
Didnt take them up on the offer to take the bike down and they would make a can for it in the end. The 800gs one fits so didnt need to.
The free bit of kendal mint cake was a nice touch as well.
Would definately buy from them again.

Cheers Allan

Had a look at a yellow 9er before i bought mine. It had fuel cans and there was a rest for the centre stand. Just checked there current ebay listing and its mentioned in the ad.
Had a vfr800 with a stainless system and remus can with no stand rest, was fine if i rememberd to catch the stand with my foot b4 it clanged off the exhaust.
Thinking about ordering a pair of cans today £248 + £10 p+p is a great price.

Cheers Allan

Go for the Fuels, you wont regret it.

I've got em on my 9er and compared to the Akrpovic system on my blade, I think they're bloody good, but obviously heavier than my nice Titanium Akrpovic!

Very happy with my Fuel cans. Easy to fit, and sound good too

Don't forget to look in the box, there's a free slice of Kendal cake.

It's very easy to fit them completely out of line with each other, if you're not paying attention.. but easily rectified with a bit of fettling and adjustment.

Nice cans.. had mine for about 5 years now and they're still looking as good as new, aside from a few minor scuffs. They really smooth out the throttle response and engine braking too. Do it. good.gif

MTC seem to be a similar price to the Fuels, tried a single sider on my Mk1 and it sounded fantastic. I'm sure someone on here's got them on a 900 but can't think who.

The Fuels fit fine with panniers, which is something I was worried about.
