Thanks for fielding that one Mr secretary.

Firstly I think I need to clear up a couple of issues re sizing. Most people seem to get the sizing thing about right. But here's the IMPORTANT bit.
It's absolutely critical that when you do the sight readings you must have somone else hold the measuring tape for you so that you can sit in your normal riding position with your hands on the bars & both feet on the ground whilest holding the bike upright. It's also vital that you look at the 10m marker first & then lift your eyes to the 20m marker WITHOUT MOVING YOUR HEAD.
I also take note of Kenny111 comments re the rubber washers & I'll try to find some a bit harder but not so hard as to limit their shock reducing potential.
to answer aslan63's shipping query. Cost would be about the same as to UK. i.e. 53 EUROS

Stebel Compact Nautilus Air-Horn with Eastern Beaver relay kit, Eastern Beaver PC-8 switched fusebox, Powerlet BMW style power socket
plus controller & heated gloves for the missus. Oxford v7 Heated Grips, V-Strom 650 HandGuards, Fenda extenda.

Hey newstu I've sent you a PM.
Can everyone else interested in a TigerScreen please note that at present I'm not able to lay my hands on any suitable packaging. Oz post don't provide anything close to what
is required. In my previous employment I had access to plenty but now I'm only doing casual work which is in a completely different role so no packaging available there.
The other problem is that it also means I don't have a vehicle in the city to bring packaging home with me.

I'm hoping that permanent employment ( with a car ) may be just around the corner which will enable me to make & ship TigerScreens again.

I anticipate around early November, till then screen production is on hold. Very sorry guys

Yes I agree but I've been asked this before by another member. Unfortunately The largest parcel size that Oz post will ship is just larger than the biggest screen I've shipped.
They don't have discounted rates for multiple packages shipped to the same address either.
I also investigated bulk shipping via airlines & that's just horrendously expensive.

I should be up & running for more screens by end of January. Far too much on the go between now & new year to do any before then.

I've been reading this topic and become very enthusiastic about your screen, the only sad thing is that you ain't got one for the mk2 (4TX). Do you get contact with that bloke in your neighbourhood? Is there a local bikeshop that have a mk2 (4TX) which allows you to take measurements.
As several other mk2 (4TX) owners i'm also interested in a quiet way to travel with my bike.

This one looks less "Touring" & more "Sporty / Dual purpose" ...hopefully.

Will post photos & update of progress soon.

Oh....almost forgot the Mk2 850 blokes
