A small humble opinion;

Stop, think, remember the good times with Mike.

Let the bile go down the gutter, we can't help the fella now, however loved he is.

Just a thought from me.

Agree with you there mate.

He wouldn't want revenge - just remember him every time you get that set of bends just right ........and he'll be up there smiling with you .....that's his legacy to us good.gif

You are right guys, I'll let it go now.

My thoughts are with his family and I'll think of him whenever I have one of those perfect days on the TDM.

Don't mind admitting that tears rolled down my face when I read that. Only met Mike once, but a real gent.
I don't want to feel anger when I remember him, instead a smile when the road un-rolls in front of me.

Update:

I too received my reply from the Attorney General today ( AOG) which confirmed they will do nothing about it. mad.gif

Catsbum :

Re the post a few back :

Are you saying that the lady who knocked me off, and who pleaded 100% liable, and "got off" with 5 points and a £200 fine, will actually get higher insurance premiums for a (long?) while ? ( how long ?) If so, I hope it serves to make her think EVERY time she pulls out of a junction for the rest of her driving life....

I don't condone or want to incite violence but if we know/can find out where this guy lives could we not organise a week long rotating(different people every day) GTG in the area on the anniversary(every year) and follow him everywhere he goes so he never forgets.
So long as we swap every time he stops or every half hour or something nobody would get in trouble and with any luck it will scare the bejesus out of him.

If you'd killed someone, would you ever forget?

It always seems the law is tilted against motorcyclists!

Still I say it's best not to get bitter about things, no it's not fair, but fecking life isn't fair.

What would Stormy say? I don't know, I never knew him but I'd bet he'd say be careful out there, there's always some dickhead waiting to pull out on you!

Stormy was given his nickname by me after one of his rants on the Thunderace forum in about 2003. It was changed slightly when he bought the VStrom to "Stromy" for a short time. I only saw him lose his temper once when a self service petrol pump in France refused to unlock after him spending 5 minutes putting in all his credit card details. I imagine the owner was a tad peed off to find dings in the metal housing when he opened up on Monday morning.

Trebor has the throphy and part of winning it was that you thought up another challenge next year.

So a bit of gentle pressure is needed.

HOW ....... WAKE UP TREBOR, WHATS THE CHALLENGE !!!!!
