The Banana Republic Crew (stu, apw99, Chris and TeDeum) are booked on the overnight ferry from Rosslare to Cherbourg on June 21st and back on June 27th (except for Chris who is going on his hols). It's only 1180km from Cherbourg to Masserberg. We'll probably stop once for cake and coffee.

I'm thinking leave Sunday with 2 nights camping to get to the Eurotunnel around mid day Tuesday. After my previous MT experience it's possibly to find some stunning roads home. I've still got the Satnav itinary of the route Tony, Danny and myself did south of Cologne which I think is possibly the best days riding I've had in my life.
Will join you on the way back if I may, Chris. Am also intending camping on the way back. Staying in a guest house near Aachen on the way out.Ali

Me and Moose have a change of venue due to the hotel in Amay messing us about. We're now staying here in Hotel Jagerersruh, Monschau. Bit of a bargain at 36 euro inc breakie. They have 15 rooms in total, but I'm not sure how many they have left. It's about another hour or so ride from Amay/Liege, but looks nice and surrounded by some good roads. It's also on the way back from the ring just off the B258 banana.gif MapDates as before: Wed 22nd outbound and Mon 27th return
Have still to book the Eurotunnel (waiting on the Tesco vouchers to come back) but have booked a guest house close to yours in Monschau. Will camp on the way back.Ali

2012 900 - Still adding shiny bits. Was black, changed to white and now back to black again.

Fine by me - we'll have to check the tourist dates when they're posted on the ring website, but an evening session could be on.

Matt - not impressed with the hotel in Amay. I never did get a reply directly from the hotel despite having contacted the owner direct. I haven't cancelled the booking yet, though, just in case!

Full dates fior the ring are not up on the website yet, but there is ADAC 24 hr racing from 23-26 June at Nordschleife. Most likely (to be confirmed) the ring will be open for tourist rides on the Monday evening. I'll keep checking the dates.
