We will probably have a pub crawl in Douglas on Friday night, there and back on the bus.
Just a suggestion, how about Peel instead? Whatever you decide, I'll meet up with you for a few beers.
Paul
Triumph Street Triple. For those hooligan moments......
Beta Alp 200. For falling off In muddy bits.
I suffer from C.D.O. It's like O.C.D. but all the letters are in the correct order, just as they should be.

can you get a bus from the Cronk-Dhoo to Peel ?
There is not many takers for the High brow Hawthorn Bistro

and another Pub Crawl in Peel on saturday night might be a more popular alternative

( still deciding on the scotoiler )
Cheers, Ivan

Yep, no problem with the bus, it runs from Douglas to Peel and the other way back, straight past the campsite. Plenty of good places to eat in Peel as well, Chinese, Indian, even some English food!. Some good pubs too. Looking forward to seeing some of you before Germany. I'll get the wife on cake baking duties for the weekend, Chocolate beetroot cake is unbelievable.
No worries about the scottoiler, I haven't decided either way yet.

No, she's used to it by now. 2 years ago, we had 10 mates staying for TT, full breakfast every morning, never one complaint. She doesn't deserve me!

Just realised, I'll have to tidy me garage AND clean me bikes for RSM Cats inspection.

Just in case we want something EXTRA to do, as well as ride bikes, looks like this is on:
The Manx Classic 2011
The Governor's Sprint, started from the TT Grandstand on Glencrutchery Road and travelled through the Governor's Dip to finish on the A18 Mountain Road, near The Nook on the TT Course 'old road' [map].
Thursday 28th April 2011: roads closed from 12 noon to 3pm; and from 6pm to 9.30pm.
The Sloc Hillclimb, ran over asection of the A36 road through open moorland north of Port Erin and south of the "Round Table" in the Island's southern hills. [map].
Friday 29th April 2011: roads closed from 9.15am to 4.30pm.
Lhergy Frissell Hillclimb, out of Ramsey on the world-famous TT Course, taking in the famous Ramsey Hairpin, Waterworks and Gooseneck. This climb encorporates part of the original Gordon Bennett Eliminating Trails course of 1904 [map].
Saturday 24th April 2011: roads closed from 9.15am to 4.15pm (I assume this is 30th)
a veritable FEAST of classic motoring
