Ok
Im on Leave now. Today I went and got some Euros, and cash. Printed off insurance details, found passport and licence.
The Tankbag arrived at work so that's good.

However:
Just back from the Doctors. Been having backache since last week, been sick in the night too, Yesterday my piss was Gravy in colour.

Kidney infection. Got a bollocking for leaving it so long as I have had these before. Told him about France. He had told me to rest
and not fuck about on mopeds, his words. Im on strong Anti's and something to stop me throwing up when I lie down.
(Bagsy top bunk puke.gif )
See how I feel in the morning.

All ready here. My choice of what hear to take is seriously limited by only having one set to choose from! I do have spare undercrackers though.

Slow ride down the Fosse Way from Leicester and meet some relatives in Pompey, have some grub and a nose about the docks to see what's there before going to the ferry. What time is everyone planning to get to the port for?
We're all going to die, so let's be nice.

Just heard from Ali, the French dealers suspect the regulator and guess they are trying to fix it; if they can't the breakdown insurers will pay for the bike to be repatriated to the UK.

No time to write loads but we had a really great weekend, the accommodation and food was excellent and run by lovely people who are bikers themselves. When Cats uploads all his pics you'll see for yourself.
Now on 9er number 2 .....

Really pleased that you and Clair got home safely Pete and of course all others as well.

Latest update from Ali is that he is on the way back to the UK and the dealer has said that the alternator has gone, I've suggested that he tries getting it re-wound rather than buying a Yam replacement as it will probably be cheaper. I've seen a link on the forum sometime back about this but does anyone know the exact details to help out?
Now on 9er number 2 .....
