The bunkhouse kitchen and lounge is still open and it has just been done up. No need to bring the kitchen sink.

Its just the over night accomodation that is not available.

If you can bring yours Tony it might help some of the others out, especialy if they can use the Cronks Beds.

i have quite a few tents, others i have that are immediately available are a small 2man lightweight dome hike tent, kyham eiger(decent sized 2man quick erect tent), 3man cheapie doubleskin dome tent, 3man force10 ridge tent
only issue i have is space for transporting them, if anyone else is coming from Essex/Kent and has room to transport them that would help...

as mentioned, if i bring the biggy there is space for 2 other people to have their own sleeping areas, just put your name down if you want a space

I've just managed to get Thursday 28th off work, so I have now changed my ferry time to 14.15 from Heysham. Any body else on this ferry.
I will drop in on the camp site to see you all and help out putting up the tents.

Tesco is your friend on this one - you can get kitted out with tent, airbed, & sleeping bag for about £40 good.gif

i may be able to get in my digs in peel £25 a night bed breakfast , sky tv , whilpool bath shower, full breakfast with cereal ,hmm

I spoke to Carl from CronkDhoo this afternoon, and suggested he log onto the forum to monitor us and keep us updated.

The "Room" I booked is not ready, Apparently Carl is trying to get all the facilities sorted. ALL the electrics were condemned so he has an army of plumbers and electricians sorting it all out. He says there is no way he can get the premises sorted and passed by the tourist board before we get there.
I have got to ring back on Friday, for an update. dunno.gif

It looks like I will be camping as well! There is a B&B 1 mile from the ferry in Douglas, and for the 4 nights (I am going early) the cost is £108. rolleyes.gif
I am tempted but I think it defeats the object of going in a group. After all I can't drink if I am in a B&B coz I would have to ride back to the B&B.
I am going to stick with the majority!!! good.gif
I just hope the weather holds out for us.

As far as tents go, I am sorted but I have seen them on Fleabay from £20 upwards. Just cutting it fine for next week! ohmy.gif

Yep were in! though not arriving until 5ish on the Friday eve, staying with me folks in Onchan (Good luck with the Camping, No seriously like good.gif )
