Is there anything in the way of itinerary yet? on the lines of what were doing when we get there? ride-outs and or visits ?

Lew wink.gif

No itinerary set yet, but suppose it`s as good a time to start thinking about it as any....

Really enjoyed the west coast run last year, would have been perfect but for the rain & midges!

I think some have also mentioned Applecross, that`s another I`d like to do, anyone got any preferences ?

I do 50 miles a day, about 42 are motorway miles, and when I'm on 11 - 7 shifts (which i have for the past 2 weeks) the motorways are fairly quiet both ways.

I've not measured my average speed with the sat nav but Google maps says it should take 35mins to travel the route. on a good day it'll take me 20 to 25 mins.

One to think about for the future if you guys come up north again....

http://trackreviewer...e-kart-circuit/

I went up there a couple of years ago on the TDM and might a trip take up there this Sunday to watch round 2 of the Scottish championships. A nice little circuit about 60 miles north of Inverness, very scenic, loadsa free parking, a trackside decent cafe with good grub and excellent viewing points. It didn't cost anything to get in and you can freely wander through a vibrant pit area.

Best of all, these kids are total loonies! In the the senior 250cc class almost all of them were 4 wheel drifting around the corners.

Unfortunately for this years G2G, the racing is nearly always on the last Sunday of the month.

Cheers

Hutch is now allowed out to play cool.gif
he just needs to sort out accomodation, so if anyone else (Lewis/Kitty?) is thinking about coming along shout within the next couple of days as its cheaper to book rooms rather than individual beds.

Aye - nice track - I used to play there on a 100cc kart in a previous life dry.gif had a helluva engine seizure at the end of the back straight when I leaned off the mixture too much - did about two 360 deg. before stopping in a sand dune!

I don't know what the numbers are for this year, but do we want a T shirt?

I think that the minimum order is about 12.

I suggest the same design as last 2 years but in a different colour. Anyone wishing to view one can see Tony D modeling last years on some of the German piccies.

If I remember last year they were a tenner each.

If there is enough interest, I will organise them.
Please reply and state size.

Cheers,

Colin

BUMP!!!!!!! NOT A LOT OF INTEREST SO FAR. I WILL GET THEM IF I HAVE A MINIMUM ORDER OF 12 COST AROUND £10

Cant make this one either, I'm gonna be at beinglas farm campsite, Arrochar at a GS500 meet I've organised tongue.gif

So I'm gonna keep my eyes open on this thread to see if you plan a ride out and about near Arrochar, Tarbet or even Helensburgh and i should be able to make myself available for Tea and Cake.

Theres a Biker Cafe called the Pit stop Diner in Arrochar

If all goes well the GS peeps will be there Saturday for a ride out or for breakfast on the Sunday.

Maybe our paths will cross, hopefully they will. Lets wait and see wink.gif
