Great pics Chris & Pete, although not sure about Colin's topless snap shocked.gif Sorry I couldn't make it, although I'm glad I missed another scary ride home. It was bad enough coming home from work tonight, wouldn't have fancied 300 plus miles in it. I hope the JoG/LE crew survived the weather. Roll on 2012 and hopefully some decent fookin' weather yeahbaby.gif

Seems a sensible approach Tony. Sometimes discretion is the better part of valour - or it certainly is when faced by the tail-end of a bl..dy hurricane!

I had a horrendous ride down to Cheshire so the idea of dashing through the gales to Lands End seems pretty pointless.

Enjoy the rest of tour - there are still masses of fantastic, challenging roads between Invergary and the SE.

Many thanks again for a great weekend

Pete (and Clare)

p.s. FAO Patrick - I personally thought the SYHA facilities were actually better than the bunk-house we had last year

Patrick, the hostel was at least as good as the one used last year. My only complaint is the room was a hell of a long way from the door biggrin.gif

Bit of a poor effort on the video this trip. Poor weather meant I didn't take a lot of footage and I didn't even get my normal camera out of my tank bag.

i'm home and assume Hutch is too as i left him at the end of his road
we left Tiff at Lands End around 4pm-ish, had a couple of stops for fuel/coffee/pizza/piss etc but otherwise it was a straight blat home

my rear tyre is completely shagged, havent got anywhere near the same mileage out of the PR3 i did from the PR2 but that may be due to the wet weather handling being so much better i was still throwing it around while being battered by Katia....

anyway, full details, pics, stories etc once i've had some sleep....

well done Tony.. and please pass on to Hutch and Tiff

Looking forward to pix and tales of derring stuff

p.s. Interesting note about PR3 mileage, generally the wet should add mileage as there is a bit of lubricant to reduce wear ... ?
