Was aiming to submit something scenic but time's caught up with me and you've got a load of good stuff already. Still, to show willing, here's a straight shot of my odd beastie,

or from a more waggishly political angle. tongue.gif

laugh.gif Looks well Ian ! cool.gif

Jim, errrrr, depends on what you'd call a short-list rolleyes.gif There are around 160 entries at the last count, prolly more now, and I've got about 98% of 'em on my 'short-list' laugh.gif Think I might need some help with this !

But I have an idea in mind that will let me use more than 13 photos and hopefully make it more Carpified smile.gif

Went to the printers today to ask some questions and get a price.

The calendar will be A3 portrait. 12 pages plus a cover page. 1 page per month, top half of page photo, bottom half calendar. Printed on 160gsm H/R medium silk paper.

Prices are dependant on quantity, soooooooo...........

1 = £20.00 each + P&P
10+ = £09.50 each + P&P
25+ = £06.60 each + P&P Nice !
50+ = £05.30 each + P&P Nicerer !

I've also godda buy a sample copy but not sure what it'll cost yet.

I'll post up in the 'For sale' section soon to get an idea of who's up fer a copy ! good.gif Gonna get some designs sorted first.

Calendar Update !

I've more or less finished designing the cover and I'm nearly done designing the calendar too ! smile.gif

Just need some piccies ! tongue.gif

There were around 170 piccies submitted and sourced. clapping.gif clapping.gif

The vast majority were of the 9'er - well over 100 ! ohmy.gif

Next was the mk1 ! yeahbaby.gif

The mk2 was very poorly represented ! punishment.gif

I've designed the calendar so that for each month the calendar bit will include a faded piccy relating to Carpyness, G2G's, Rideouts, group photos etc and the piccy bit will have a bike piccy. This allows me to use twice as many piccies.
I'll post up an example shortly-ish !

I've been deliberating on how to best select the photos, (not any easy subject !) and after much consideration I've decided I'm going to select them myself. It would have been too big a task to ask peeps to vote on 12 carpy pics and another 12 bike pics and I would also be faced with having to make all the photos fit, again this is a bit of a problem with portrait oriented photos going into a landscape oriented calendar.
I'll select equal numbers of all 3 TDM models so there's a fair representation, I hope you peeps don't mind and I'll try my best not to disappoint you all.

Many thanks to all the folks that took the time and effort in submitting their entries, and sincerest apologies if you weren't successful on this occasion.

Hmmmm, might be closer if you delete the 'hitch' bit Graham ! tongue.gif

Here's my shortly-ish 1st draft example for the January page. unsure.gif

I might add a border to the piccy and mess about with the positioning of the various parts and even change the background colour, but, hopefully you get the general idea.

I could probably make the lower pic more visible but I dunno if you'd be able to see anything you decide to write onto it if I did.

Comments and critisisms most welcome !
oh, and no, I'm not using my photo in the calendar proper, it's just there for 1st daft exampleness smile.gif
