Alas my +1 has pulled out again. I've changed Rob's ticket in to my name (ish, I've just recieved the confrimation e-mail and it's got my name and bike, but the address is a bit of a mix up of his and mine) but Wicky's ticket is still available. It costs £10 and a few minutes on the phone to change it over.

I'm also on radios, so I assume that's me, cats, Mark and Dave wired for sound?

Yo Chris I would be up for the spare ticket if thats ok? I will pm yo for contact numbers etc.

I've been hearing that ya now need to carry a couple of breathalyser kits in France. I think you can pick 'em up en route ferra quid or 2 each.

EDIT: Scratch that, it doesn't come into force until the 1st July.

not promising anything, but if you give me a list of towns villages, sites you think we should visit, I'll try and put together some garmin routes and post them on here

Dave

Just done a quick Garmin "MapSource" route via Mont-saint-Michel and its 232miles (6h40m) going cross country (no motorways) or 220mile on the quick roads.

How do I upload/add a Garmin ***.gdb file to this topic, if its possible ??

I'm at work on Wednesday and was planning to meet up at Cats place, but if you're leaving at 5pm it'll be a wee bit tight. Should I meet you at Saga's gaff?

I don't think we can upload files to here anymore (or download any listed sad.gif ) Could you use Google Docs to host the files? If you don't have an account with them email the file to me and I'll have a bash. Alternatively what about Dropbox?

I'm getting excited!

I better start packing, what do I need? Flip flops, jeans, T-shirts? Oh I better get some Euros too, about 400 should be enough eh?

Hi Steve,

File sent.

If you've got a "car" based satnav then you might not be able to upload routes. A good indicator is - was the Garmin MApSorce software provided with your satnav ?

Mines a nuvi550, know its possible on the bike specific Zumo's

Well she needed cleaning as got very dirty on trip to Brands last Monday. However, was worth the journey (and the clean up) just to see the only woman riding a superbike fall off on the warm-up lap rotflmmfao.gif

Shame we're not going to get the weather we had last year but the water proofs will be packed, plus a spare pair of boots and several gloves ranting.gif
