The look on his face as he heard you accelerate away from the 30 was entertaining as well.

Great route and whoever arranged the weather did a brilliant job. I'd like to say it was good to put faces to names..........but I've forgotten them all now.......

And to those of you I left on the campsite as the sun went down and the temperature dropped - don't worry I had left the heating on so the house hadn't dropped below 20 degrees.

I've uploaded my pics on photobucket and on Facebook. We couldn't have asked for better weather, but to be fair, it was a tad cold during the night for some. I'm glad I made the effort to bring the bike on the trailer as I don't have any luggage racks and we all benefitted from the cooking equipment, BBQ etc. Just glad we didn't need the big tent for rain cover.
Thanks all for your company and a brilliant ride out. The old beast managed to keep up with all it's considerably younger companions.
Thanks particularly to Jolly for a great route.
Ali

Care to mention any names Ali?
Ok I admit it, I was raving freezing, damp and miserable, that'll teach me to use the Argos budget camping equipment!
Had a great time before getting to my tent though and thanks to all involved, especially Jolly for letting us see how fast
TDM's can go and a great ride out and Ali for looking after us with his travelling kitchen. Having contracted hypothermia
and serious man flu I almost fell asleep on my sub-sonic ride home in the sunshine (didn't know you could fall asleep riding
a bike till today and I don't recommend sneezing in your helmet!) I went to bed for four hours when I got home and woke
up to a piping hot bowl of stew, must do it all again soon! Thankyou all for your company, hope everyone else got home safe,
and Ali enjoy the Divvy!

I'll admit to being cold Friday night, must be my age.
The event started with me getting a soaking close to Attleborough, a couple of miles down the A11 you wouldn't know it had been raining.
Had a good laugh Friday evening with some new and old faces.
Great ride on Saturday, nice one JG and well done Moose for putting it all together again. drinks.gif
Hope David's felling better.
Thanks to Dan and Trev for the company home. If you didn't guess Mandi needed petrol and wasn't paying the most expensive price in Suffolk so we headed for Morrissons.
Did Dan have his camera on when I stalled leaving the camp site and nearly dropping the bike? ohmy.gif
