the TDM article has finally been published in this month's RIDE mag.

I think it gives a fair review and Carpe get mentioned several times

Why did Yamaha not give it a simple styling update and a European relaunch as the bike to ride in Time of Global Austerity!

Save a fortune in R&D, tooling, type approval. testing etc etc etc

Yep, I was suprised at reading that !

pleased they wrote about the 1200 based on the tenere. Hopefully Yamaha might see sense !

Especially as the much raved about'revolutionary' new Honda NCX700 - low revving with excellent MPG ..........

was it just me that noticed the 50 year old average age?!?! i dare say i'm not that old.
out of interest what sort of age range do we have here?
total newb to fettling. can just about change plugs and filters. time to learn...

Mk2a 2000 in Silver. Top end Refurb @ 41100 miles, Scottoiler, Renthal Road High Bars, Up & Back Bar Risers, Bellypan, DL650 Handguards, Capt. Must say it does tend to a appeal to the older generation.

The bloke at Robbinsons rochdale said its a bit of a strange bike for a young like like me to have.
