Try this... download them one at a time and after download rename them (say you need 3 maps) download the 3rd map and rename it mapC, then the second and rename it mapB...and so on.Phewww right back to the ole GPS thing again, should be a doddle now....hmm where's the "ON" button.
So I dowloaded some new maps from the opencyclemaps wiki ....so big that they wont download in one go and also overwrite each other so not possible to glue them together in Mapsource.
Whilst wondering how to stop the maps overwriting and how to glue em together I came across this hopefully neato program: http://www.javawa.nl/gmtk_en.html It can rename my downloads so they can be joined, can copy em all onto my notebook as they appear on the PC and can also get Mapsource to load directly if not previously installed. All things I have been wondering how to do.
Not sure if any of this is use two ewe slot (but will remind me when I forget all this next year).
