Daytime Running Lights

Recently I've been thinking of visibility, and think some daytime running lights might be the way to go.
I want the lights to be small, but bright. I saw these on Ebay:

Has anyone tried these? Are they any good?
I like the way they are mounted.

I've got two pairs of these exact DRL's sitting on my desk, to be installed on our bikes soon. I got some 25mm and 30mm right angle brackets from a local hardware store to install them with. They'll be weird up via Eastern Beaver switched fuses which they'll share with Motrax heated grips.
These lights will need to be fitted at an angle of about 45 degree. I just went out at night to check the beam shape and it's quite wide. They're bright too, they'll make your first glow red if you choose your fingers over the lens. Angle them too high and Mr Plod might object.
The price on your Ebay link seems a bit high, I'm sure ours were much cheaper than that... You'll see them listed as DRL and reverse lights, they also have amber ones. search for 'projector LED'.

I fancy some of these:

BTW, I read some research that found that we should build our lighting to form a triangle. Others can determine our approaching speed better with an on-coming triangle of lights which increases in size than a single light.

Agreed. Saga has some led lights on his fairing, look nice but too polite in my opinion.
I fitted these to my Whitey, drivers would comment saying, bit bright mate. Yes, so that means you saw me

I would like a 'spot' version aimed at making those about to join the road in front of me have second thoughts.

@AzzA: It would be great if you could post som pictures when you've fitted them. Preferably in dayligt with the head light on as well.
@Robodene: I bought the Acerbis Scooter Flash handguards hoping the LED lights would be bright enough, but no.

Can't even see them when the head light is on. But the Bikevis ones looks a bit brighter.
@LDRider and catsbum: I'm not a big fan of HID. The whole bike hides behind a halo of light, and makes it difficult for others to determine distance and speed. I want som lights that makes them see me, and don't hide me.

I like the way they are mounted.
I've got a pair of these mounted on my engine bars and I have to say that they are very good and many people are impressed and comment on them.
They are not the cheapest available, but they are good and have a wide angle on visibility.
I will post some piccies when I get home.

That would be great. Mabe I'll get some of these as well, if I like what I see.

What have you done with the second picture? Have you edited the lights out?
They looked perfect for me. Now I just have to see if the Bikevis Bullets are good enough. If not, I'll order these.
