At fear of boring people, I'll keep this short.
Endo's girlfriend called us today and he will be in hospital until probably Friday. Ouch.

Good to hear he's progressing. Re. the posted pics, did you catch the earlier notes from Toneski and me?

You're doubtless right, from what little I understand of the incident. I guess it's up to Endo whether and how he wants to get back on the road. Thanks meantime on his behalf for the photo edit, though.

Endo has basically bust the top of his tibia, but in a vertical "slice" PART OF WHICH HAS COME AWAY FROM HIS TIB, WITH THE FIBULA. He has had this plated ect but is looking at approx 3 months before he gets back towards being ok.
He phoned tonight and I told him about my exciting week and the fact his bike is the only one I know to be chained up by theives

A bit like a note in a bottle, but just to do something I sent a message to Endo so he wouldn't feel forgotten:

"Don't know if you'll be in a position to pick this up yet awhile, but it's just to say that we've all been concerned about you in Carpe, and wish you well and a speedy recovery."

Any more news, Paul or anyone?

First of all a big Thank You to everybody who sends thier regards

And a VERY big thank you to Paulb (top bloke) for picking up my bike (a case of beer is on the way!)

Just to let everyone know what has happened I have broken a small part of the tibia (just under the knee) that joins to the fibia.
Had to have an opperation to plate and screw back together, this is all very strange as I had very little pain when it happened.
The bad part comes in the form of how long I will be out of action, I will a full leg cast on for the next 6-8 weeks and then a half leg cast for a futher 6 weeks.

Just got back on the internet after my mate came round and moved my computer from one room to another.
the couch is now my bed as i still can't even hobble about.

thanks again for thinking of me

Kind regards Endo

P.S Jude, sorry I didn't make to much of an impression that you forgot my name good.gif

Wow - 12 weeks in a cast! That's harsh. Best not spend the whole time watching daytime TV or on the web! You'll be challenging Wicky's record number of posts.

All the best.

Ohh Bollix blink.gif

really sorry to hear it screwed up your plans (temporarily) but look on the bright side "minimal damage to your motorcycle" hope your not in too much discomfort Mark.

I must say my first thoughts after cresting that brow were unsure.gif Ohh f**k ! however seeing you sit up was a great relief, really wierd the fact you could rotate the leg / foot etc with no pain until you stood up, I was hoping you had just strained some muscles ETC, but now we know different ehh !

Once again really really glad you are back online, and sorry you had the missfortune that day (however you were not alone huh.gif my brother binned it later) you WILL heal and be back on the bike sooner than it appears at first (as you know the older we get the quicker time passes) i do not envy your daytime television (lack of choice) perhaps this is an opportunity to read some good books, or watch a good few movies.

look forward to seeing you on the bike again soon (perhaps the rtt 2007 in germany ??) or anywhere around the area mate.

keep your chin up and tempist fugit and all that.

best wishes to a speedy recovery

Mark D

P.S. did you view the pictures in my gallery ??

Wierd about the no pain! I was hoping for strained muscles too. got to count myself lucky tho as the bloke that arrived in the next bed to me on sunday had bust his pelvis ribs leg etc. he said he was just going home and not going daft, hit a patch of gravel and off!!

Sorry to here about your brother, hope he is in better shape than me. I know what you mean about daytime telly I think I know the property market pretty well all ready.
