Hi dandywarhol!
We have spoken via pm before two months ago about TDM TUNING.I'm from northwest part of Greece named Epirus and live in town Preveza.I'didn't fit camshafts from 2002 rolleyes.gif but my bike is 2002 model.I fit cat cams from Belgje second stage. The fork is from R1 99-00model and work perfect in TDM(I bought from e-bay for 350 euros). Also fitted easy and without big modifications.Yes the is my favorite color. ahhhhh.gif Thats all and sorry for my poor English! drinks.gif

Hi Kitrino........my memory is sooooooooo bad just now - sure I remember our PMs.......and I've been to Preveza........collected my girlfriend from the airport there when I was over on my 850 in 2002 - stayed near Parga for a base and toured Lefkada and Kefalonia.........saw a few TDMs too - the 900 seems more popular in Greece than here in the UK...............you guys are making too much money now you're in the E.U. cool.gif

The R1 forks got lengthened on the 2nd or 3rd year of production to help keep the front wheel on the ground. Dont know what from or what to, but they got lengthened.

I cant remember what I done yesterday but I can remember reading that about 5 or 6 years ago. How does that work? huh.gif

Thanks mate, great pictures. So R1 forks are same length as TDM?

The length from the fork of TDM is 81 cm while from the R1 is 75cm. The travel length from normal TDM of fork is 150mm while TDMR1 of it is 135mm(model R1 98-01). But the distance of down side exhaust from the ground in the TDMR1 it is at ~1.5cm lower than normal TDM. And this because when the machine stand with biker on the suspension does not dive so much as long as the suspension of normal TDM.The behavior of forward system are exceptional the suspension are not diving so much as normal TDM at the braking and his stability are found in other level, the possibilities of regulations of TDMR1 are more and more qualitative.
