Steve's got it right - a fine engineer's term!
Take a wee bit of your holiday and listen to Mole's story and the problems and look at the problem through her eyes. We're ALL on that fine balance between coping and insanity - doesn't take much to tip you over - sleep deprivation being an easy cause, somehow all the problems seem worse at 4 in the morning!!!
The job will still be the same when you get back Wicky, so the only thing that can change is how you approach it - it's a sad fact that the less conscientous workers are the ones who are less stressed cos they don't give a fuck.
As to the Tree Surgeon career change - why not go for it - you and the other 2 fellas will make a grand job of it........

Black 1991 850 MK1, 160k+ miles(ish, best guess really, gave up trying to keep count after 3rd set of clocks and 3rd engine), PilotRoad2 tyres, custom stubby exhaust system, bluespot calipers & goodridge braided hoses with dunlopads, maxton forks, Ohlins shock, kedo handguards, stainless TDM grill, Scottoiler with lubetube & dual nozzle thingy, Givi Wingrack2 with E45 & 2xE36s, renntec crash bars, Autocom with blueteeth & PMR radio, TomTom Rider2, Optimate IIIsp, Bagster tank cover, anti-dazzle coating
to fit : led spotlights, heated grips, new braided lines and rear caliper that actually has bleed nipples

Wicky, I kind of know where your coming from but you break away should help clear your head, then think about it when you come back from you holibags.
me I'm now on the look out for a new job, or should i say company, I like my job as a heating engineer, like the guys I work with but the company stinks. No desent work, lack of orginisation more paperwork & they are checking the trakers in the van agianst timesheet & Q any discrepencies. ime to go for me!
Anyhow have a good holiday & chill out.
