Black 1991 850 MK1, 160k+ miles(ish, best guess really, gave up trying to keep count after 3rd set of clocks and 3rd engine), PilotRoad2 tyres, custom stubby exhaust system, bluespot calipers & goodridge braided hoses with dunlopads, maxton forks, Ohlins shock, kedo handguards, stainless TDM grill, Scottoiler with lubetube & dual nozzle thingy, Givi Wingrack2 with E45 & 2xE36s, renntec crash bars, Autocom with blueteeth & PMR radio, TomTom Rider2, Optimate IIIsp, Bagster tank cover, anti-dazzle coating
to fit : led spotlights, heated grips, new braided lines and rear caliper that actually has bleed nipples

as soon as the parts arrive 
was hoping to fit them tonight so i can use the bike this weekend
but not sure they are gonna arrive in time for me to head home on Thursday eve
dont really want to ride it as the airbox has obviously disconnected from the carbs
oh well, i'll take the S10 home and use the TRX for weekend playtime
ps. i parked the bike next to a shiney red camaro this morning
havent seen it before at my office, your not in Reading today are you?

Wish mine was red. Tell me how to put pics on here and I'll post one for you. Got mine cheap on your addiction site, little bit of work but a bloody nice car methinks 
Lunchtime and my TDM just gets better. Now I have no misfire, no dead spots and it is running like new. Should I buy those things that go inthe carbs,, can't remember what there called now, weebles or something.. Or, should I leave something that is running really well alone? The test will be when I re-fill her.

No worries, it just sounds better.
Seriously, I'm in the same position as you, but the airbox seems to be sitting about correctly on top of the carbs anyway, so I have no problem with riding it.
I just got a text from the bike shop saying that new my airbox-to-carb rubber thingies has arrived. Sadly I'm out of town until friday night and then it's off to my cabin for some carpentry and next week my cage-based summer holidays starts, so the TDM will probably be sitting in the garage until end of July. Sigh.

Pah, you're not even trying, I filled up at 180 miles today, put 14.7 litres in so over 55 to the gallon
That was taking it easy on the motorway though.jht is my hero

So Im gonna wait a little while, a) leave sleeping dogs, b) car is taking my money.

I've been wondering about this since you pointed out mine was long bit pointing at reserve. I reckon mine is the other way round, but need to run it beyond 180 miles to find out. Chris Will you pack it in on this 180 miles tank thing!!!! Driving me nuts!Right, How do I get more miles per gallon.... hmmm, ride slower,,,,,no lose weight, yes that might do it.... So, helmet, gloves and a Bare Fat Arse.
