spyball alarm/immob, bluespot brake calipers and Stainless hoses, Fournales air adjustable shock with Remote Resevoir, forks raised 10mm thru yokes, racetech linear fork springs in 15 wt oil, Kappa wingrack/luggage, heated grips, Kedo handguards, dual heat controller to power heated jacket liner and or pants!!, Stebel 136DB horn, K&N air filter, colour matched Baglux tank cover (magnetic tank bag modified to fit cover), osram +50% headloight bulbs, headlight protector,"NitramSpecial" parking loight, tail light indicators all running on LED's & incorporate "Lite Buddies", MK7 Scottoiler fitted, taller screen, 2-2 stainless steel CCC's, Devil stainless down pipes. MKI Renntec engine crash bars & sump guard.
engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

ya 20 ltr tank on all MKII's, i might be having a 30 ltr tank fitted later this year giving me a 300 miles plus range which is handy fer riding the 14 mile round trip to Sainsbury's every week...........

used to get about 115-120 so its an improvement

Since Tuesday there has been an strong smell off petrol when the bike is in the garage.
Also, Since Tuesday, the bike has been, well dying when cruising along, by this I mean in 4th/5th steady throttle. She starts to 'die'. when you add a ltlle more throttle she is still hesitant.
Fine on tickover, fine on heavy throttle
and that smell of petrol. (nothing on paper towel overnight)
What's going on Team?

could be a sticking float in the carbs try switching fuel tap off when parking up in garage see if that stops the smell.

Had a further look. Found the rubber tube that is dripping fuel down the left/nearside of the engine. It seems to run up toward the tank. Here, have some pics to play with:-
