Woohoo, I've finally managed to book some time off work.

Before I book the campsite (it is this place isn't it?), are people only staying the Friday and Saturday nights or are people staying Sunday night and heading home on Monday?

Don't know about the bunkhoose situation Stu. I booked in there through Joe, I had thought of trailing the bike behind the Bongo but decided to leave the ol' bus at home.

Are there rideout maps for the non-GPS mob like me? Maybe Google-Mapped? I'm hoping to join in somehow, combined with a visit to my cousin in Galashiels. He's got a KTM and a new Ducati GT1000 - maybe he could bring one of them along?

Hi Pict, I should have replied to you earlier over this, sorry !

I'm upto leading the route from Skipton to the bunkhouse on Friday afternoon if you want to join me.
Is there anyone else out there want who wants to take the "Dales" route up.
I was thinking about meeting up in Skipton about lunch time, but I don't want to be too prescriptive.

Just let me know.

The main bullit points of the route are

* Skipton
* Settle
* Hawes
* Appleby in West'
* Hartside
* Alston
* Hexham-ish
* Bellingham

Mileage - about 150 clicks from our house, so I guess about 110 from Skipton

I tried uploading the maps onto my Garmin but they ended up showing gobbledegook. I'll just put them in manually - that should only take me about 2 days!

The eight bed bunkhouse that we've booked is full but there may be spaces in other bunkhouses on the campsite so give em a call to find out. Does anyone know many of us in total are now going?

I just booked the campsite and he didn't even want a deposit, I guess a cheque for £7.50 is more hassle than it's worth.
