Just to make things clear: I don't have anything against the heterosexually challenged - maybe a bit of pity since they will never know the graces of a woman..

I consider it my personal problem the fact that I'm offended by their public displays of affection - I am, and that's that. It may be that I live in a country where such behavior is Very rarely seen in broad daylight, if ever. Maybe I'm the one not used to it.. dunno. I dont know any Romanian 900 owners.. everyone around here has 850's

Glad to see evrywun is back in good humour. Would hate to see people mad at each other for such minor questions..
Ok.. got my 2 Lei in on the topic.. now lets get back to the important stuff: When are you guys planning a trip over these parts so I can join you for a ride, a drink and a talk? (not THAT kinda ride, Wick!)

Noroc / Cheers !

I'll pack my bags this evening...

I'm really fancying the idea of a Euro tour next year. Can't make my mind up between Switzerland/Italy, and Eastern Europe though.

Browsed the blog already, looking for your capers on Romanian grounds ... Found just a few lines at the end

I look forward to going back to Romania some day - how's the property prices??
Lemme know if you do! ..
Property is going up and there's not much left to buy, at least around the Seaside area.. If you're looking for a nice retreat in the mountains, there might be some nice deals out there.
Noroc!

It's a tempting idea, but never having been further than France before attempting a 5000 mile round trip through a dozen countries might be a bit ambitious for a first attempt.
Besides if I was going to go to Romania I may as well go the whole hog and visit Istanbul...

You know what? you're not the first to tell me that.. And unfortunately you're right... I know persons who moved over here from the UK for that reason only - the people. I can only pray it will take a long time for that to happen... As for the on-off roads - one of the main reasons I got the TDM was just that - long travel suspension for the "beautiful" romanian roads
Ye, I know.. but I want that one!!!
