You not bored yet?
I've been off since that little bassad tried to stab me in August. Now on half pay ranting.gif . I went through weeks and weeks of no motivation (and no bike to relieve the tension). Just applied for a job as a countryside ranger and now feel much happier as there's something to look forward to.
Good luck with whatever's in the pipeline Wicky

Yep, based at Beacon Fell near Preston. Most of their work is dealing with/educating the public and promoting the countryside but there's also leading walks, maintenance etc etc. Working outside all year round and learning some new practical hands-on skills biggrin.gif .
No essential qualifications but plenty of practical and life skills required.
Downside is you have to work EVERY Saturday & Sunday and ALL bank holidays sad.gif

Hi Pam,
Just a note to say i will not be returning to work as i have decided i love 'the job' but don't like working for Xerox anymore. I have had 6 great years but the last 4 have been terrible and to go from loving my work to hating it doesn't make things add up in my mind so i have taken the decision to leave. I have informed Phil today and he and i will meet up next week so i can return any company assets i still have like the phone, laptop etc.
Thank you Pam,

regards, Ken
