Saw quite a few TDM's on the way up to Applecross if you guys did see me I am the Fat bugger on a Silver 900 being followed by a very loud HD Fat boy with friend and friends wife on. Spoke to a guy with a yellow/silver 850 at Applecross and asked if he went on the carpe forum he said he looks now and again and might join in later on. There was a Silver TDM in Fort Augustus at abt 17.40 going in for fuel saw abt 6 today.

cheers Bob

I was around the west coast, from kintyre to ullapool, untill yesterday, saw a few TDMs. I was on the black and silver 850 with my father on a 1200gs and a friend on a 1200gs adventure, the tdm had no problems keeping up on any of the roads, including forest paths. There was alot of beemers around last week.

There were a lot of bikes out on the A82 and beyond over the Mayday weekend and I was amazed at the number of R1200 GS's. There must be a factory in bavaria just churning these out. When the 1150 GS first came out you got quoted 6 months wait for one. Now they are out-numbering TDMs by about 30 to 1 I'd say. They are good but they are not that much better. Saw a silver /yellow 850 heading south at Tyndrum lunchtime Saturday was that anyone here? I was in a cage at the weekend I'm afraid. ranting.gif

No but I have got a wife & daughter at home, so I need to get the ok (& one woman in my life is more than enough)
No I was asking as the sea food festival is on this WE, & a couple of guys from the bike club are planning on going , & I know Mr Eccles went last year so I was just inquiring if anyone else was going.
I still have not got the go ahead yet.
