Personally (6"5), high screens rarely work for me. When I had a BMW R1100RT I always had the screen in the lowest position (which is considerably lower than those TDMs). Esp when doing long distances at higher speeds the less "disturbed" air-stream is just so much more bearable, despite getting more pressure. You can get quite a bit of front-wheel lift from high screens as well. Better protection against rain from high screens is a bit of a myth imho, esp on modern tourers where the screen is relatively far away from the rider. The standard TDM 850 screen works perfectly fine too, on a par with the best fairing I ever had (BMW K100RS). Those high-screen TDMs already give me a headache just by looking at them
