I've had one who actually started the conversation with "Don't worry I'm not trying to sell you anything", then gets in to his spiel and tried to sell me something. he wasn't too sure what to say when I asked why I'd want to deal with a company who started out by lying to me rotflmmfao.gif

i used to keep 'give blood' leaflets and give them out to JW whenever they rang the bell

another time meself and me 'strictly methodist' dad had a double act argument going
he answers the door to them, says "sorry we're methodists, not interested"
i shouted out i'm not a methodist i wanna hear what they got to say
they had cleared the end of the drive way by the time we were having trouble keeping a straight face rotflmmfao.gif

Europe is good at pulling itself apart and blaming the gypsies.

theres a big difference between a pikey and a gypsy dry.gif
i have no problems at all with gypsies (polite&friendly travelling folk) good.gif
i do have a problem with pikeys (scum who live in caravans so they can move around avoiding the taxman and the fallout from their shite work/theft/crime sprees) ranting.gif

We had a Romany family in a proper horse drawn caravan camp up for a while on a grass verge near where we used live, they had a foal that wasn't very well so were there for a couple of weeks. It got to the point that my father and another neighboring farmer used to quite often stop off for a chat and happen to have half a bale of hay in the back of the landrover, and the local vet was stopping of most days to see how the foal was. They were really nice people. Pikies on the other hand...
