Crash bung on the front fork doesn't seem to have done much but it looks like the side one took a fair bit of the damage.

2009 900 abs, 42k miles, Yamaha heated grips, double bubble screen, R&G crash bungs, scottoiler, Autocom, 1500 lumen LED spotlights.

I'M STILL ALIVE.................... YAY rockon.gif
Went to the hospital today to get checked over and nothing broken, just a bruised and sore body (and ego!), can't move my neck great deal, left leg, right arm, stomach, shoulders and wrists all hurt - apart from that, I'm all good!

Thanks for all your comments everyone, and the offer of the stabilizers CatsBum, I migh take you up on that, lol! I went out clubbing in town last night and tried to use the line "I'm lucky to be here tonight cos' I had a horrible near-death bike crash earlier, and I could do with someone to make me feel better" to all the girls - didn't bloody work at all tdown.gif still, had a good night though - from what I remember.

However, I have accomplished a lot in one day, had and really enjoyed my first bike meet, met loads of great people and had my first off - quite funny how I crashed in Suffolk and ended up in Essex rotflmmfao.gif

This isn't going to stop me, gonna get staight back on the saddle as soon as my TDM is ready or Trixie is back together (if Tony will ever trust me with her again!!!). After my fun ride on Trixie yesterday, i has only confirmed that I want one rolleyes.gif

Looking very much forward to the next meets and Ireland.

Great to hear your spirits weren't dampened after all that happened good.gif
Now on 9er number 2 .....

Looks like you all had a great time and I'm glad that nobody was seriously hurt, despite the off. tdown.gif

Just wanted to ask if any of you guys take a pillion to the meets? I noticed a distinct lack of a female presence on the photos, except for the one lady who appeared to be riding her own bike like the rest of you. Reason I ask is because I'm potentially interested in the Lincolnshire meet idea, but Mrs S loves her riding and would be most put out if I were to disappear with the bike for half the weekend without taking her! wub.gif I'm not saying we wouldn't be welcome, but I'm sure you can understand that we wouldn't really be comfortable being the only couple (and possibly the only 2-up bike) present. unsure.gif

So how about a 2-up meet? Or are you all closet 900 riders? laugh.gif

the S10 would prolly have just riden straight over the brick with nothing but a minor bump rolleyes.gif
also with the space frame (riky cross crash bars) dropping it aint much of an issue cool.gif
last time i threw it down the road all it did was polish the paint work on the crash bars dry.gif
