trixy not looking her best

Thats is the only prob with some of those flip front lids is that they are not as strong as normal full face and a knock can open them as your's did
Wots the rest of your lid like??
Glad you didn't get any gravel rash on your face
But very clever of you to make TRiXy end up on her stand
Best I've managed is stood up on back wheel with against a tree
My Super Modded TDM has gone to a new home ![]()

by the time i had run back he was up & about and had removed the lid, so i didnt see it until near the end
i did a few checks (i'm FAW,FPOS trained), made sure he could breathe, see straight, move around without crying in pain etc and then went to sort trixy
i must admit if i had seen the state of the lid straight away i wouldnt have let him get up, it would have been ambulance jobbie
when i binned my last caberg justissimo i destruction tested the flip up by stamping on it
the top of the lid smashed before the flip front came loose

It was a Takachi TK-85N, not the best on the market I know - but did it's job. I have ordered a Caberg Justissimo GT lid today as my replacement.
Thanks Saga Lout, more bruisies are coming out now and I had a banging headache all day, can't wait to get well enough to get back on the road.
I was very lucky to not need any emergency help in that way, don't know how I avoided needing any but very glad that I didn't need any.

The rest of my lid has just got grass staines, mud and scratches all over it - so if anyone needs a open-face lid, I know have one up for grabs
Well what can I say, I obviously know how to handle a bike enough to get her to end up on her side stand

Trouble is he only polishes half in an vain attempt to shame people in to cleaning the other side. What he hasn't yet realised though is that every time Tony goes round there he parks facing the other way from the last time
