you should be fine, according to the self checkin blurb you just type in your booking reference number (on the e-mail they sent when you booked) instead of shoving your card in the slot

Cheers Chris, received email from eurotunnel confirming the same. See you Friday bright and early.
Now on 9er number 2 .....

I'm almost organised, packed most of my stuff and even cleaned my boots already.

Still not put the bike back together yet though... unsure.gif

Think between us Tony and I aren't the best advert for Mk1's rotflmmfao.gif

Just about sorted after a slight hickup with the battery that was refusing to be charged by my Optimate. Drama all sorted now as it was just a bad earth connection on the Optimate lead. Feckin Tom Tom rider 2 is refusing to hold a charge but will accept charge off the bike. Go figure. Only taking top box and tank bag so if its cold in the evening I will have to wear my Hairy Gherkin jacket.
Picked up my Euros today so will have some beer tokens and bratwurst money.
A mate of mine has just informed me I am supposed to take a full bulb set by German law. Looks like I will have to go "no speaky German" and wave my spare headlight bulbs if stopped blink.gif
Got a tad stressed today as wifey and daughter Megan kept telling me I should "dry pack first" and me feckin Jack russell bitch "Molly" managed to fang hold of me new pillow and then run round the garden playing chase me for ten minutes with it. I thought I was going to burst a blood vessel running after her but the daft dog got so excited it ran straight into the fence rotflmmfao.gif Love that dog!!
Not long now.

I've got 2 headlight bulbs, and 2 tail light bulbs, so I'm kind of carrying a spare... rolleyes.gif

I had to hit the reset button on my tomtom tonight too, looks like it's contagious blink.gif I've got a map as well but it doesn't start until Aachen laugh.gif

Aachen brings back memories as my Mother (Ingrid) was forced to move to that area from Holland after the war with her Mother by the Americans. This was to facilitate the rebuilding of Germany after they had bombed most of the German civilian cities to the ground. I still have an uncle, Aunt and two cousins who live in Holland but I have not seen them in 20 years or so.

I'd like to think I win a prize, but given the cheesing thread elsewhere I'll skip it....... blink.gif

Wish I was going, sounds like a good example of organised chaos mind rolleyes.gif
Done: Homo sap navigation/ twisty thing on bars to make it go vroom/ grabby thing to make it stop (in front of twisty thing)/ 'leccy things front and rear to make it glow at night/ Sucky + drippy oiler thing to keep chains moist (!!) / Laser Pro Stock Race pipes / bleeding ear drums (see previous mod)
To do: Educate homo sap nav system to operate twisty + grabby things/ get ear plugs

All Trashed Now... Pants... its a Cat B Mwahahaha it lives again!!

Remember every driver is a deaf myoptic twat who is out to kill you, ALWAYS assume they are going to do THE most f*cking DUMBASS, STUPID manouver possible, at the worst possible moment; get past, and get past quick

Vie is not going to get vet (does this convince you that I'm fluent in German already ?), if you use the link TD provided it gives the forecast for stuttgart which is probably 200 miles south. If you type in Dortmund the forecast is much better. Me thinks TD didn't do geography at school blink.gif

Most forecasts I've looked at reckon we'll be ok over the weekend but damp riding home on Monday. CAn't make up my mind if I should take my cordura/gortex trousers or just rely on a pair of waterproofs over my draggins unsure.gif

Bike's now back together good.gif Nearly 36 hours to spare, dunno what you lot were worrying about rolleyes.gif

Just realised I hadn't packed the tool kit though ...

Siegen also gives a fairish result - cloudy with poss showers, but mostly Sunday-Monday.

I'm a bit wary of this "curry on the hoof" idea, btw - visions of goat galloping behind on outward journey and hairy saddle cover on way home..... unsure.gif
