Are the routes a secret then? tongue.gif

No but I don't have them all mapped out like you yet. Appreciate the links (first link has one too many http in it) which include roads that I would suggest as excellent and are part of my plans. There are lots of really fine routes down there that Mrs TeDeum and I enjoy including the Healy Pass. Soon as I get as organised as you (I'm not very conversant with Google maps yet - my ideas are on OS paper) I'll post some routes including going up into Clare. EDIT: why did I print that????

OK think I have Google maps sorted so now I just have lots of work to do.

Phil, who has a cafe in the village, has offered to do breakfasts if people wanted it and also to do a set meal in the evenings just for us. I'd need to know if there would be any interest in this to give him an idea of numbers. It would probably work out cheaper than eating in the pubs which are catering for the holiday trade and families at that time of the year and we would be lucky to get to eat together any other way, if that was what people wanted.

Sounds like a good plan good.gif

Cafe sounds good to me.
Count the bodies from the night before. Repeat the mantra "I'm never going to drink again". See how much of your brekkie you can eat before someone dives like a starving gannet.

Serious reply. The barrel can be filled with cake if required.

There is a cash machine in the supermarket which manages to keep the village running even during the tourist season.

Doesn't make any difference to me, but check your email for a note from Stenaline - they've made slight changes to the Holyhead - Dunlaoghaire schedules to save fuel. Not sure about Fishguard - Rosslare.

The only thing I'm nervous about is if this tanker driver issue escalates. unsure.gif
