Well, I'd still like to come but don't hang around for me. sad.gif

Basically, I'm knackered because I've just worked 2 nights with virtually no sleep and I've only just been and picked up the new bike this afternoon. All the nerves, excitement and lack of sleep has left me feeling pretty exhausted, so I'm going to bed tonight without setting the alarm. If I'm awake, I'll be down. If not, I'll get some rest, get used to the bike and join you on another ride this summer - hopefully there'll be one that's not too far for me to travel. Sorry for the letdown and please believe that I WILL get out on a ride and meet some of you eventually! sorry.gif

The picnic site where they have bike nights? Yeah, I fancy that, Sidey. good.gif Never been before, is it easy to find? I would be coming down the A631 from Gainsborough.

To find Willingham Woods, you go straight through Market Rasen, Sparky
Pass the racecourse & it's about half a mile on your left........you won't miss it on a weekend
the crotch rockets will be swarming like bees round a honeypot laugh.gif

BTW.....watch out for hidden cameras.......Lincs plod are running 'Operation Stealth' using covert cameras
And don't get involved in racing any black fireblades or black & silver K1200R's, because plod are running them plainclothes as well dry.gif

Great day, myself and Mrs S thoroughly enjoyed it. good.gif Thanks to Sidey for the organisation. clapping.gif Excellent run to get acquainted with the new bike, I'm really chuffed with it and it ran really well apart from that one particular corner that I cocked up whilst following TonyD rolleyes.gif . Entirely my fault but I got away with it - it's always nice to learn from a mistake without getting hurt! wink.gif

I was really pleased to finally meet some of you and will keep an eye on this forum - hopefully we'll be able to tag along on a few more G2Gs in the future. good.gif

Cheers, drinks.gif

A grand day out today despite the occasional damp stuff. I nearly managed to keep up but sorry my jnx struck again and cut me off from the group. Might also have been useful if I'd picked up the memory care for the camera! So it'll be over to Tony for any record of the day's doings. Good grub/tea stops and a nice route - thanks Sidey. Route worth archiving in the "map box"

Mind you, I have to say that it was a very cheap run for anyone behind Tony, my bike ran a whole lot better for running on Tonys' unburnt petrol coming out the exhaust!

Cheers Tony!!!! rotflmmfao.gif

Great day out and not too much wet stuff.

Sorry we had to cut it a bit short, but prior engagements meant we were a bit pushed for time.

Thanks to Sidey for sorting it all out. As Pict says - a route to add to the map collection.

Tomtom said I'd be home for 21:08, got the bike back in the garden @ 8:15. Think I'll have to check the settings on that. Was a good clear run home but,,,

Trev and Jason, you missed some bloody good roads. You also missed the shite coffee from a "robbin chef".

Excellent day out, thanks syd.

Don't take many other photos but I have noticed a re-occouring theme in them

Continuing the same theme, the lady cooking breakfasts at Grantham Honda (great-looking dealership btw) wanted it to be known that they're having a pig-roast, music etc. occasion on (I think) July 5th, to celebrate the in-store launch of new bike model(s). Said I'd pass the word along, fwiw.
