Note Tony's position on the edge of the group - a matter of safety 'cos as he gets smaller he absorbs energy and matter from his surroundings. We think he may be turning into a black hole or even a singularity ph34r.gif

Nice pix all round - thanks to those who remembered to bring their memory card as well as the camera body! blink.gif

And no Carpe casualties this time? That accident we passed looked a bit grim though. unsure.gif

Great photos folks........sorry I haven't posted any up yet....left me camera lead at work hidden.gif
We really enjoyed the company (and the riding)
Thanks to all of you for turning up and making it a success - I know a lot of you came a long way to join us !
Know just what you mean about the cost of the food, feeding hungry Horace all day has nearly cleaned me out !

Got a text from Rocket & Angie - they made it back to the digs OK & were going to look for somewhere to get a few pints
We had a brilliant ride back from Uppingham - going back to Melton Mowbray with Ang & Rocket, then doing the back road to Colsterworth, Corby Glen & Grantham the other way laugh.gif

We did over 200 miles, so the rest of ya must have done much more.

PS Rocket reckons we ought to go up to Yorkshire sometime.......We're up for it good.gif

(International Gold Cup at Oliver's Mount........20th & 21st September ??????.......me & the boy will be going anyway There's camping on the course & they ALWAYS have a beer tent drinks.gif )

Could have as the Sept G2G, or next to a Scottish one so people could combine their trip? Worth advertising this / these to the German forum (+ French?), as there has often been interest there in a Northern (esp. Scottish) meet?
